Puerto Galera Home Of Mare Divers:

Puerto Galera is approximately 150 km/ 90miles South of Manila and is situated on the northern peninsula of Mindoro Island. Luzon and Mindoro are separated by the Verde Island passage. This passage connects the South China Sea  with the Sibuyan and Visayan.Sea and its waters are exchanged through this passage by currents of up to 6 knots.  This strong current makes some of the sites a spectacular ride alive with fish life, so diving with a professional who knows the area and the currents is very important. The passage is very deep so clear water is very common to the dive sites of Puerto Galera along with a fantastic variety of large and small marine creatures.  

How do I get to Mare Divers?

The easiest way from Manila is by Sikat Tours.
Departs daily 8 AM in front of City State Tower Hotel, Mabini Street, Ermita, Metro Manila.
The AC bus takes you non stop to the waiting boat at the Batangas pier and from there straight to Sabang. Arrival between noon and 1PM.
This requires either an overnight or an early arrival in Manila.

From the airport:
Take a taxi to the various bus companies like Ceres Liner, Jam Trans, Alps Transport etc.. at the intersection of Bundia / Taft Avenue Pasay City.
Get on the bus going to Batangs Pier.
Buy a ticket to SABANG !!! on arrival and don't let the agents confuse you. They send you everywhere as long as they fill their boats.

Taxi's can be hired for trips from the airport to Batangas Pier. Prices according to the price list displayed at the dispatcher booth outside of the arrival hall.

Privat transfers, car or van and boat , can be arranged through us.
In case of  a late arrival an overnight in Manila is unavoidable.
